The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW) is cooperating with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

This cooperation has been initiated by Drs. Eric Cosio (PUCP), Waltraud Kofer (HSRW) and Rolf Becker (HSRW).

The scientists are targeting an interdisciplinary joint project focused on the Amazon Rain Forest. Eric Cosio is manager of the Tambopata research tower aiming at carbon flux determination above canopy based on eddy covariance method as well as further ecological vegetation experiments in the Peruvian part of the Amazon Rain Forest.
